Testing your XHTML on mobile browser simulators

I thought this might help anyone who’s trying to test their XHTML pages on a mobile phone.

I have found 2 mobile browser simulators. One is from Nokia, the other from BlackBerry.

Both browser simulators allow you to access a page from a web server if you install a WAP gateway. But Nokia’s allows you to access a XHTML file that’s stored on your local harddisk. I thought that was a plus as you don’t have to deploy that file onto a web server. But you are likely to still have to test your page on other simulators as each mobile device has a different form vector, and the page can display differently on different devices.
